Ariana Mitcham is a current Junior studying Public Health Sciences with a minor in Environmental Studies. Her primary academic interests include topics in the intersection of Environmental Health and Environmental Justice. Ariana is a research assistant in the Urban Energy Justice Lab, directed by Dr. Tony Reames, where she works with fellow team member and Masters Student, Gabriel Gadsden, on energy justice research. In her free time, Ariana serves as a member of the only professional environment fraternity at the University of Michigan, Epsilon Eta, and as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated where she helps serve the local community around Ann Arbor and the world.
