M.S. Student, Wildlife Sciences
Virginia Tech

I am interested in behavioral ecology and how animals utilize the landscape while potentially interacting with humans. My MS research analyzes American black bears (Ursus americanus) behavior in the Virginia Appalachian Mountains, focusing on behavior, foraging, and hibernation ecology. Additionally, I hope to be a professor conducting behavioral ecology research and incorporate mentorship of students, public outreach, and am dedicated to increasing diversity and inclusion in the wildlife and ecology profession.
