Dr. Carla Dhillon is assistant professor in environmental social sciences with the Department of Environmental Studies at Bryn Mawr College. Her work aims to reconfigure environmental practices toward justice by examining how socio-political processes both reproduce and transformenvironmental inequalities. Current research focuses on governance, relational dynamics, and material implications of climate science networks that bring together Indigenous and non-Indigenous parties. A 2016 Environmental Fellow, Carla earned herdoctorate in Natural Resources and Environment from the University of Michigan, her M.S. in regenerative studies from Cal Poly Pomona, and a B.S. in civil engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
