Communications and Operations Coordinator, Salazar Center for North American Conservation
Courtney (she/her) is a recent graduate of the Conservation Leadership master’s program at Colorado State University and currently works as the Communications and Operations Coordinator at the Salazar Center for North American Conservation. While earning her M.S., she discovered a passion for conservation planning and decision making and chose to focus her graduate research on bridging the science-practice gap in conservation. Originally from Iowa, Courtney earned a B.S. in Biology, B.A. in Biochemistry, and B.A. in Environmental Resource Management from the University of Northern Iowa. As an undergraduate, she studied wildlife conservation and genetics, and has been involved both domestically and internationally with community-based wildlife conservation initiatives. Courtney lives in Fort Collins, Colorado and enjoys exploring the outdoors with her two dogs.
