Mary Jones has a decade of experience in the environmental field and has worked in environmental education, nonprofit development, philanthropy, and community organizing. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability, where she studied Environmental Justice and was a 2017 Environmental Fellow. She most recently worked at Toxics Action Center as the Western Massachusetts and Connecticut Community Organizer where she organized side-by-side with frontline communities to confront polluters and seed solutions. Jones played a key role in securing over 15 local incremental and long-term victories in protecting clean air and water in the region, including passing stricter regulations on fracked gas infrastructure, pesticides, toxic sludge, and more.
