Destiny Treloar is a Masters of Environmental Science (MESc) candidate at the Yale School of the Environment focusing on environmental justice and urban politics. She is working with Dr.Dorceta Taylor at the JEDSI lab. Destiny is very interested in studying the disparities found in food access among Latinx/e families and developing multifaceted solutions to reduce and eliminate such inequalities. Prior to her graduate studies, Destiny earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Politics at Mount Holyoke College. During her undergraduate studies, Destiny interned for the Doris Duke Conservation Scholar Program at the University of Michigan and Yale School of the environment, City of New Haven Food Policy and System Division, Ministry of the Environment of Ecuador, Clean Water Action, Planned Parenthood, and organized for several political campaigns.
