Ashley Bell graduated with her doctorate in Environmental Health Sciences from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Her research focused on particulate matter 2.5 (PM2.5) and its association with the development of type 2 diabetes mellitus. She was recently hired as a Postdoctoral Associate under the mentorship of Dr. Dorceta Taylor at the Yale School of the Environment. In this position, she is involved with activities associated with the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Sustainability Initiative.
