Julia Talamo is a Master’s of Environmental Management candidate at Yale School of the Environment specializing in people, equity, and the environment. Julia Talamo completed her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Geography as Posse Scholar at Mount Holyoke College. Her passions within environmental justice include food justice, public health, and environmental accessibility. Her research with the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program looked at the challenges of small farmers and farmers of color in the Midwest. She has also completed research with the Landscape Architecture Program at The University of Michigan. This past summer, she worked for The Nature Conservancy, auditing trails and preserves to increase their accessibility.
