Minoli Fernando has been working with the Vanderbilt University Drinking Water Justice Lab (DWJL) since 2021. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2024 with honors in environmental sociology. Following graduation, she worked as a Post-Baccalurette Fellow at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. She is currently a first-year medical student at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, where she continues to work with the Drinking Water Justice Lab pursuing her interests in environmental health disparities and drinking water equity
