Rachel Leon is Executive Director of Park Foundation, based in Ithaca, NY, a family foundation that supports community needs and sustainable initiatives locally and independent media, democracy, civic participation, animal welfare, and environmental issues regionally and nationally. Rachel has served in leadership roles in philanthropy and in the non-profit arena for more than 25 years. Before starting at Park Foundation in fall 2020, Rachel served as Executive Director for more than a decade at Environmental Grantmakers Association (EGA), a network of hundreds of foundations within environmental philanthropy building community in their support of people, place, and planet. Prior to EGA, Rachel was Senior Program Manager for Participatory Elections at JEHT Foundation. Previously, she was Executive Director of New York Common Cause and prior to that served as Associate Director and other roles at Hunger Action Network of NYS.
