Ryan is a Master’s of Environmental Management candidate specializing in environmental justice at Yale School of the Environment. After Ryan received her BA in Environmental Studies from Brown University in 2018, she moved back to her hometown of Salt Lake City, UT, where she worked as a Community Program Coordinator for the nonprofit Utah Clean Energy. As a Community Program Coordinator, Ryan helped incorporate principles of justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion into the organization’s policies and programs. Moving forward, Ryan hopes to advocate for underrepresented communities and explore the relationship between queerness and environmental inequality.
